This certification validates expertise, experience and understanding of principles, practices and best practices in the six core knowledge areas of New Product Development:

• Market Research
• Teams, People and Organizational Issues

The NPDP Certification Exam is made up of 200 multiple-choice questions. A passing score is 75%.

The NPDP Review – an online, instructor-led course – is designed for practicing New Product Professionals who want to assess the depth of their knowledge of New Product Development and identify learning gaps before they take the NPDP Certification Exam. Once the review course is complete and individuals have spent some concentrated time reviewing key resource material, experienced NPD professionals should be ready to take - and pass - the certification exam.
